JOB DESCRIPTION

Role will serve as a Technical Lead/SME for Oracle HCM Core HR, Talent, Learning and Compensation modules. Responsible to lead team in designing, configuring, and implementing Oracle HCM Cloud solutions to support and enable the business with considerations towards best practices, efficiency, scalability and supportability.

Apply advanced knowledge and skills to analyze, problem solve, configure, test, deploy, and support production applications of various size and complexity. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and is responsible for data security and compliance, mentoring and coaching others, providing architectural influence and vendor software improvements while collaborating and building partnerships with the business and cross-functional teams. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Partner with appropriate teams to deliver software solutions according to SDLC best practices
- Partner with appropriate teams to expedite issue resolution within defined SLAs
- Document the root cause of issues and implement improvements to prevent future recurrence
- Support and maintain applications utilizing required tools and technologies
- Provide support for applications during business hours and off-hours (24x7) as required
- Ensure change control, support ticketing, and bug tracking processes are executed following defined standards
- Establish priorities for application modifications in collaboration with key business stakeholders
- Develop functional, design, and programming specifications for application enhancements
- Complete estimates and work plans as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks
- Test application bug fixes, enhancements, and new software releases
- May design, configure, code and unit test applications and utilities using SDLC best practices
- Ensure security, compliance, and integrity of systems and data
- Assist other personnel on assignments including mentoring or providing on-the-job training to other associates
- Mentor team members in software development principles, patterns, processes and practices
- Lead and participate in the design and implementation of large and/or architecturally significant applications
- Champion company standards and best practices. Work to continuously improve software delivery processes and practices
- Build partnerships across the application, business and infrastructure teams; mentor and coach the day-to-day work activities of other team members

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum
  • Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Lead for the Core HR, Talent, Learning and Compensation modules
  • Expertise in data migration and integration with Oracle HCM Cloud
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, Agile principles, and DevOps practices.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 7+ years of experience in Applications Systems Analyst role
  • 10+ years of experience in system analysis, design or programming and the associated development methodologies
  • Demonstrated success in planning/execution of projects
  • Deep knowledge of all aspects of the application and dependencies to other systems and is a SME
  • Ability to provide input and influence on architectural and feature improvements to vendor software roadmap
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of industry/technical terms and processes
  • Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
  • Demonstrated excellence in project planning and execution

Desired
  • Associate Degree IS related, or comparable work experience in an Information Systems position or related business position
  • Bachelor's Degree IS related, or comparable work experience in an Information Systems position or related business position
