JOB DESCRIPTION
Plan the utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and personnel to improve efficiency of operations. Establish work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Train, develop, and manage a team of operations planners
- Develop labor models to best utilize workforce and assets while driving down costs
- Develop labor schedules across a complex hub-spoke model in order to best utilize assets and labor in order to drive down cost
- Create operational and driver KPI dashboards
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement projects

- Utilize large data sets to forecast future demand based on historical trends
- Work with Operations and Industrial Engineering to develop and maintain all SOPs
- Travel independently up to 25% on a regular basis
- Maintain flexibility to work weekends on an occasional basis
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering or a business-related field
- Any operations planning, headcount planning or industrial engineering experience
- 2+ years of analytical experience with an emphasis on warehouse, fulfillment center, logistics or transportation
- Provide excellent customer service, both internal and external customers
- Ability to delegate and follow up on assignments while striving for results
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Must be organized and ability to multi-task
Desired
- 2+ years of experience managing a team
- 3+ years operations planning, headcount planning, or industrial engineering experience
