JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Oversee the support of supply chain systems and training the user community to ensure the automated production system operates efficiently to met or exceed business goals. Responsible for the analysis of data requirements and troubleshooting any process problems to automate/ improve existing systems. Track progress and status of all technology projects and provide management with regular updates. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Essential Job Functions:
- Analyze information processing needs using techniques such as structured analysis or data modeling.
- Determine computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system.
- Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
- Review and analyze computer printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems, and correct errors by correcting codes.
- Test, install, monitor and maintain computer systems and programs.
- Provide reoccurring training for staff and users on computer systems and programs.
- Partner with user community to document and escalate issues to the support center.
- Keep current with new technology and develop programs that meet management and user requirements.
- Serve as project leader for data projects, when required.
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; completes performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Desired Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or comparable work experience in an information systems position.
- 2 years working with relational databases.
- Knowledge of computer languages such as Java, Customer Information Control System (CICS), Disk Operations System (DOS) and/or C-base helpful.
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Highly motivated and service oriented.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical skills and solid problem solving skills.
- Proven management, leadership, operational and verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of supply chain systems, such as the Warehouse Inventory Network (WIN).
- Proficient using and training associates on Microsoft Office software programs
- 5-8 years information systems experience.
- Knowledge of switch and router installation, management and maintenance.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex technical manuals.
- Prepare clear and concise status reports for management.
- Prioritize and organize work based on changing and challenging deadlines.
- Manage others in a diverse environment with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with different target audiences; associates, staff and senior management.
- Respond effectively to changing demands.
- Ability to diagnose situations and make educated adjustments in a timely manner.
- Ability to travel independently.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends on occasion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and development of others.
