Kroger is looking for current college students who are interested in gaining on the job training, mentorship, and real-world experience in their field of choice.
The Kroger Fall Internship Program is a 15-week immersive experience that offers students an opportunity to grow their careers through a variety of focused internship assignments. Fall 2025 dates: August 18 - December 5.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities for Candidates:
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
- Help in optimizing data storage and retrieval processes.
- Participate in data cleaning, transformation, and integration tasks.
- Document data processes and contribute to technical documentation.
- Partner with associates on various projects to implement technical and corporate strategies
- Participate in weekly/monthly department meetings
- Assist in working on new technology platforms that are revolutionizing the retail industry
- Participate in intern programs that support technical and leadership development within the organization

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Open to computer science or STEM majors, must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with a preferred GPA of 3.0
- Basic understanding of data engineering principles and ETL processes.
- Any experience with relational databases, BI reporting and data discovery tools is preferred (PowerBI, Tableau, SQL Server, Snowflake, MS Azure)
- Exposure to any programming language (Python, Spark, R, etc.)
- Highly motivated student with the desire to take initiative on their own work

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in groups or independently
- Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to preserve confidentiality of information
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information to various levels of the organization
- Ability to analyze and interpret information and apply to business needs
- Commitment to providing customer service
- Prior experience in a retail environment
