JOB DESCRIPTION
Enable strategic operations communications experiences that drive overall business execution and results. Responsible for build of executive-level communications experience, creative components, including mobilization and follow-up with key stakeholders, deck creation, talking points guidance, and process improvement. Responsible for storytelling and interpreting data through design of PowerPoints, graphics, visuals, charts, relevant photo selection, etc. Lead branding and efforts to upskill cross-functional Retail Operations partners on presentation creation and design principles so they can self-serve and be brand right. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design a social strategy for SVP of Operations and create content schedule for deployment on LinkedIn & Yammer
- Build relationships and trust with VPs, SVPs and senior officers
- Own relationship with KTV to curate photo library, partner for videos, etc.
- Upskill others in presentation creation and design principles
- Work across multiple teams, manage end to end process for bringing complex communications campaigns, initiatives, and pilots to life, through a strategic lens
- Manage complex initiatives, campaigns or events with little oversight from management
- Problem-solve and develop new and innovative capabilities to bring stories to life
- Schedule and facilitate meetings to ensure timely completion of all project milestones
- Understand the status and impact of multiple projects across Retail Operations
- Source, order, and organize shipping and distribution of swag/award materials for leader events
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree communications, graphic design, or related field
- 1 year of experience working with financial data sets
- 1 year Kroger and/or Kroger banner retail division or corporate administrative experience
- 1 year of experience working directly with executive-level leaders (internal preferred; external required)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Self-directed, ability to execute projects with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to conceptualize and design graphic materials to their completion
- Ability to effectively craft and deliver messages to senior-level executives
- Excellent administrative, communication, and organizational skill with high attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work successfully across all organizational levels
- Ability to prioritize/multi-task while providing accurate/on-time results
- Ability to work within strict time frames/resolute deadlines
- Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail and ability to draw conclusions
- Strong understanding of industry/technical terms and processes

- Expert Power Point creation and design skills
- Video editing and photoshop skills
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Creative Suite
