JOB DESCRIPTION
Effectively manage division fuel center operations, to include, customer experience, fuel compliance, expense control, associate training and development, merchandising and marketing programs. Collaborate with Supermarket Petroleum Group (SPG), Real Estate on site selection and financial analysis to gain capital approval for new fuel locations. Maintain favorable working relationships with SPG, division leadership, district managers and stores teams. - Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports

- Communicate and execute corporate business unit strategies, programs and business requirements within the division
- Communicate and execute customer experience and service standards that will build and sustain a best in class reputation for our enterprise fuel centers
- Achieve and maintain EPA Class A UST certification for each state that the division operates fuel centers
- Ensure that each fuel center and division achieve and maintains Local, State, Federal UST and DEQ compliance regulations and standards
- Ensure that each fuel centers and division meet Kroger Co. policies and standards
- Ensure that all fuel facilities licenses, registrations, insurance and certificates of operations are maintained and available as required
- Maintain division fuel compliance database
- Attend all local, state, federal UST and DEQ facilities inspections
- Schedule and conduct regular fuel center visits to ensure all programs and policies are being executed and maintained
- Schedule and conduct regular market reviews to keep informed of and communicate with SPG on direct competitors and changes within each market of operation
- Maintain close working relationships and collaborate with SPG procurement, logistics, facilities and division asset protection on fuel quality and customer-initiated fuel quality and liability claims
- Initiate and implement training programs with the assistance of division HR, store and district managers, in order to provide each store and division with coordinated and effective store and fuel center teams
- Review merchandising sales weekly/period and compare to budget
- Ensure MIMIK is executed in all fuel centers
- Work with division KOMPASS coordinator to ensure sets are being completed at all fuel centers and work through all planogram issues
- Travel 50% to division stores for observation, meetings, and training

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a collaborative manner with district, division and General Office teams
- Excellent analytical skills
- Understanding of store operations and merchandising
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
