Central Fill Pharmacy Production Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervise hourly pharmacy technicians under the direction of the general manager, assistant general manager and pharmacists, to ensure accurate, timely and safe completion of all operational activities at the pharmacy central fill facility. Responsibilities include work load balancing, scheduling, training, basic troubleshooting, and performance feedback. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure accuracy, safety, quality, and regulatory standards are met daily
- Coordinate and coach the pharmacy technicians to achieve maximum daily production
- Identify training opportunities and assist in providing training

- Resolve basic hardware issues that arise during daily operations
- Assist with maintaining inventory control
- Participate in the Quality Management Committee team functions
- Perform administrative duties including interpreting production reports, creating schedules and correspondence to stores and suppliers
- Provide technical support to all areas of the Central Fill facility as well as supporting stores
- Communicate and ensure HIPPA compliance and security
- Maintain confidentiality of all company and patient information
- Provide accurate and timely delivers to all Central Fill stores
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; assist in completing performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
- Spend up to 10% of time actively participating in the Quality Management Committee team functions
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum
- Other National Pharmacy certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Ability to trouble shoot and correct PC hardware issues
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven problem-solving skills

Desired
- Bachelor's Degree
- Store pharmacy experience
