JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:
In the absence of the Pharmacy Hourly Inventory Supervisor, and as the needs of the business dictate, the Pharmacy Assistant Hourly Inventory Supervisor will provide supervision and direction to the Central Fill staff. Guarantee accurate, timely and safe completion of all operational and inventory activities at the Pharmacy Central Fill facility as needed. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Essential Job Functions:
    • Perform the job functions of a Dispensing technician as assigned.
    • Assist with maintaining inventory control.
    • Guarantee accuracy, safety, quality, and regulatory standards are met daily.
    • Utilize work load balancing, basic troubleshooting, and performance feedback to achieve goals.
    • Identify training opportunities and assist in providing training.
    • Provide regular communication of potential issues to leadership.
    • Effectively coordinate and coach the pharmacy technicians to achieve maximum daily production goals.
    • Resolve system issues that arise during daily operations.
    • Perform administrative duties including interpreting production reports, creating schedules and correspondence to stores and suppliers
    • Communicate and ensure HIPPA compliance and security.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all Company and patient information.
    • Coach and direct pharmacy technicians in the performance of their duties as needed.
    • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

QUALIFICATIONS

    Desired Previous Job Experience
    • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
    • Knowledge of Pharmacy systems
    • Associate's Degree
    Minimum Position Qualifications:
    • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Able to attain Kroger Technician Certification training within six (6) months.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience
    • Proven problem solving skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to trouble shoot and correct PC hardware issues
    • Excellent multi-tasking skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail
