Overview

Konica Minolta is looking for an experienced sales professional to interface directly with Konica Minolta's client base to drive net new business as well as to assist with orders related to IT hardware/software. This role will be exclusively responsible for Technology Product Solution sales activity for the All Covered team; accomplished through both organic self-generated sales, and synergy efforts with Konica Minolta Field Sales.

The Technology Product Solutions Consultant may work closely with Konica Minolta's field sales, operations, and engineers as well as internal management to assist in the overall growth of hardware/software sales within the company. The person in this position will be the front line of communication for the Konica Minolta client community, and will also respond to various requests for quotes, orders, and post-sales support activities (i.e. tracking, providing serial numbers, etc.). This position will be responsible for executing orders that can achieve pricing levels that fit the needs of the Konica Minolta client community while maximizing profit margins on each transaction.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Growth
    • Generates proactive marketing promotions for selected products/services to Konica Minolta clients and prospects on a regular basis.
    • Prospects to the entire Konica Minolta client/prospect database via telemarketing, emails, social media, etc.
    • Achieve sales activity and pipeline growth goals and track within Konica Minolta's CRM database.
    • Maintains ongoing strategic meetings with clients to discuss sales activity & potential growth areas.
  • Order Management
    • Provides front-line response/account management for all requests. These are typically requests for quotes, orders, order status or billing inquiries.
    • Generates proactive support renewal quotes when applicable.
    • Will find and assist in making decisions on suppliers for orders on a transactional basis that ensures competitiveness and maximizes profitability.
    • Submit orders to the procurement team upon client approval to create PO.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Participate in regularly scheduled conference calls and team meetings, which would include:
      • Konica Minolta strategic sales calls
      • All Covered sales team calls
      • Client meetings at their discretion
    • Communicate daily transactional information between the clients and the All Covered procurement team

Qualifications

Position Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree preferred, or equivalent combination in computer science or business-related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of successful sales experience in a Technology Sales area preferred.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective communication and follow-up.
  • Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Customer-focused attitude
  • Must possess exceptional time management & organizational skills.
  • High level understanding of IT hardware/software
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
