Marketing Communications Manager

Overview

The Marcoms Manager position sits within the Branding & Content team, which reports into the wider Corporate Marketing and Brand Communications Group. The team is responsible for strategizing, managing and implementing branding, campaign and content development initiatives to support the sales pipeline. This role will be key in leading communications tactics, based on data-informed decision making, and managing projects to generate leads for the Sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Play a lead role in determining the corporate story for Konica Minolta, across its portfolio and transformational programs
  • Work closely with the Campaign Managers to lead key solution / product launches and develop the marketing communications, brand and content strategy to help drive MQL and SQL within key customer segments
  • Keep a pulse on the market situation and research / anticipate key trends pertaining to the different markets in order to determine the key thought leadership insights / communication platforms to shape Marcoms programs
  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing Teams to help strategize and activate multi-channel campaigns to support activities - this includes Digital Marketing, Channel Marketing and Learning and Development

  • Create and manage marketing materials in line with brand direction - this includes developing content in accordance with customer segmentation requirements and customer value propositions
  • Analyze marketing ROI to help understand performance and determine changes required to programs / activities
  • Support our Corporate Events and Partnership team with communication activities as required

Qualifications

Experience, Educational Requirements & Certifications

• 5+ years channel B2B marketing experience
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
• Proficient with computer programs, including Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational skills, ability to follow up and high attention to detail
• Solid understanding of sales and business processes
• Ability to interact with other marketing teams to interpret and frame business needs into communications strategies
• Has capabilities to interact regularly with other people within and outside the organization in planning, coordinating and executing marketing communications campaigns
• Creative storyteller with exceptional writing skills
• Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and fun, work environment
