Senior Service Coordinator - London - Burlington

This role will oversee the daily end to end planning and assignment of the service delivery to the assigned market and customers. You will be the direct supervisor of the Schedule, Maintenance and Technical Service Coordinators.

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience in scheduling and planning the execution or the services.
  • Hands-on management of the service planning organization to ensure assigned work is assessed to be executed safely, efficiently and profitably.
  • Personally handle the critical/complex jobs or protect customers. Open service requests and schedule field operatives to successfully execute the work. Track and receive materials required to complete service. Arrange for necessary rental equipment, as well as subcontracting when needed.
  • Directly manage and onboard subordinates as we transition from one coordinator to another as staff changes.
  • Manage the schedule of service work for assigned customers and field operatives
  • Ensure right tech, right tools and right location is assigned for the job.
  • Ensure field technicians are scheduled min 2 weeks out.
  • Manage the workload of direct reports. Coordinate "labor load" as necessary.
  • Provide forecasts based on completion dates to TOMs
  • Oversee planning of larger projects as Modernizations to manage risk and execution with TOMs
  • Ensure invoicing or progress billing is done daily of completed jobs
  • Conduct weekly WIP reviews/daily huddles with Coordinators and FOMs
  • Manage and Open SRs for to emergency breakdowns.
  • Proactively communicate with Customers and Operations to improve operational efficiency and execution.
  • Follow and assist in the enforcement of all safety rules and procedures including those established by the customer.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 4-year degree and past work experience within Industrial planning, Service planning, project management or any related fields.

  • Team player and able to cooperate successfully with different leaders/Departments
  • Excellent organizational and quick decision skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of CSA and pertinent provincial OH&S or exiting Collective Agreements
  • Must have demonstrated leadership experience.
