Opportunity

Responsible for supply planning, and implementation of product supply strategies, across the supply chain team for assigned product categories. Ensures execution by tracking and driving achievement of customer service, open orders, lead times, supply plan attainment, inventory health and revenue targets, identifying gaps and risk to plan.

Develops and maintains supply plans and provides recommendations on supply plan actions to stakeholders by understanding and effectively balancing business and supply chain performance tradeoffs. Develops and maintains a network of decision makers and key influencers.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Perform supply planning for assigned scope of product categories within KBNA, which currently includes a scope of:  Faucets & Lighting.  Note:  category assignments will be adjusted as needs of business change.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the supply chain and the demand teams, including demand planning, supply chain alignment, channel, and category). Partner with demand teams to validate the demand plan and understand the medium- and long-term product demand strategies for impact on supply.
  • Develop and maintain supply plans (medium & long-term) to meet demand, achieving service, cost and inventory targets, including product category monthly demand-supply-inventory views in support of the monthly S&OP process.
  • Determines, analyzes and recommends adjustments to rough-cut capacity in short, medium and long-term ranges to ensure feasibility and flexibility of supply plans to meet business objectives.
  • Incorporate product transitions---including new products, discontinued products, products with a change in channel/market strategy and products with change in supply strategy---into the supply plan.
  • Prepare for and engage in (and regularly or occasionally facilitate) key S&OP meetings, including weekly S&OE meetings and supply alignment meetings.  Ensure content drives alignment on supply strategies and actions.
  • Organize and facilitate supply reviews with key supply sources (internal and external).
  • Partner with logistics team to ensure space and warehouse capacity aligned with the S&OP plan.
  • Own and drive recovery for any product families when supply gaps or extended product lead times occur.
  • Lead the conversion of supply plans into shipments/revenue. Work with logistics to ensure that enough capacity exists to support supply plans.
  • Review supply trade-offs and priorities with the channel and category contacts, translate supply issues into customer impact. When agreed, document clear commercial plans (actions, dates & responsibility) with the channel/category leaders/representatives to support tradeoffs to maintain or recover service levels.
  • Maintain product lead times to ensure accurate commitments to customers.
  • Support strategic initiatives within the product category, especially as pertains to understanding and/or summarizing demand, supply, capacity and inventory.
  • Serve as supply chain representative or project leader for process improvement or new capability deployment initiatives.
  • Drive systematic improvement in the supply chain through application of K&B standards, best practices, advanced analytics and technology.

Skills/Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in supply chain management, business management or industrial engineering, as well as a minimum of six years professional experience is required.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • Certification from leading Supply Chain Professional Organization (CSCMP, APICS, ISM) is recommended
  • Experience in at least 2 different functional areas is preferred.
  • Candidates must possess the aptitude to manage & lead multi-location/global projects under minimal supervision
  • Functional knowledge of Excel, including macros, BI and SAP ECC application required.  Experience with Powerbase (or similar) preferred. Experience with advanced planning systems (such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan, o9) preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple requests required

The salary range for this position is $89,800 - $114,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.  Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
