Hours: 6:12pm - 6:24am
4 days on/4 days off

Operate, inspect and troubleshoot all Powerhouse equipment and Plant Utility systems efficiency, financially responsibly and support customer’s requests.

Respond, monitor and react to fire system trouble/alarms. 

Perform all operations in accordance with the specified guidelines and instructions, while exercising safety for oneself and others.

Working conditions include: Heavy industrial environment, including, but not limited to exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, coolants, oils, noise, heights, and confined spaces. 

Physical Requirements: Bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 40 pounds or more.

Additional Requirements:
High School diploma/GED required, must hold & maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to meet Kohler Company’s MVR Guidelines and maintain good standing.
Must achieve a passing score on technical skills test.   

Must provide own tools.  

Must have completed/obtain within 12-months of hire or transfer: High-Pressure Boilers POWENGR 331 coursework via Milwaukee Area Technical College or equivalent training. Required to be an active participant on the Kohler Company Fire Brigade, responding to plant fires.


Preferred Qualifications:

Mechanical proficiency and willingness to operate industrial machinery

Physical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety policies and procedures
Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively for manufacturing production processes
Reliability: Consistent attendance and work performance
Screening: Successful completion of a drug screen and background check
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old

The salary range for this position is $30.85 - $34.08. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
