Opportunity
Provide legal support to Kohler’s U.S. Commercial Team. Under the guidance of the Commercial Team, draft contracts; provide first-round review and redlines of third-party contracts based on prior experience and internal contract playbook; administer the Team’s contract management systems and other software platforms, including systems training to associates throughout the world; perform legal research and analysis; and provide general administrative support to the Commercial Team.

- Lead commercial and real estate contract creation and organization.
- Conduct first-round contract review and redline based on prior experience and the Commercial Team’s internal contract playbook. These responsibilities include providing an initial redline and comments on third-party contracts and updating the contract playbook as needed, based on feedback and experience.
- Manage non-disclosure agreement (NDA) creation and workflow for U.S. businesses.
- Administer Kohler’s global contract management systems and other software platforms. Responsibilities include building out new contract templates under the guidance of the Commercial Team, updating and aligning current contract templates in collaboration with the Commercial Team, and being the go-to resource for any system process questions.
- Research relevant laws and regulations, both domestically and internationally.
- Provide general administrative assistance and organization for the Commercial Team.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or Associate’s degree with relevant experience.
- At least 3+ years of commercial legal experience required (or similar paralegal experience). Real estate legal experience a plus.
- At least 3+ years of systems administration experience required.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the commercial legal field.
- Possesses strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task with accuracy, while adhering to tight deadlines.
The salary range for this position is $63,100 - $79,500. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
