We are currently seeking a Recruiting Lead to be at forefront of our hiring efforts, helping us attract and retain the best talent in the industry. The Recruiting Lead will be responsible for setting the recruiting strategy and actively recruiting top hospitality professionals, from high-volume frontline staff to leadership roles. Additionally, this individual will lead a small team of recruiting professionals, mentoring the team and ensuring results.

Specific Responsibilities

Recruitment (approx. 75%)

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and hiring for frontline and professional roles across resorts, golf courses, spas, retail, and restaurants.
  • Build strong pipelines of talent for high-volume and specialized hospitality positions.
  • Leverage multiple sourcing strategies, including job boards, networking, social media, job fairs, and industry events, to attract top talent.
  • Enhance employer branding initiatives to position Kohler Co. as an employer of choice in the hospitality industry.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system records and reporting for recruitment metrics.

Leadership and Strategy (approx. 25%)

  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to meet workforce demands.
  • Collaborate with HR and business teams to forecast hiring needs and align recruitment efforts with business priorities.
  • Lead efforts to harmonize and mature recruitment processes and policies in alignment with Kohler’s enterprise talent acquisition transformation and Workday implementation.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics, analyze trends, and conduct external research to make data-driven recommendations for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supervise and mentor a small team of Talent Acquisition professionals, providing coaching and development, and ensuring performance.

Skills/Requirements

Basic Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting including high-volume recruitment, in the hospitality industry preferred
  • 2+ years of experience directly leading a team, with responsibility for training and performance
  • Ability to work onsite in Kohler, WI, five days per week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with college relations and co-op/intern recruiting
  • A data-driven mindset with expertise in recruiting metrics and strategy
  • Proven success in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, recruitment marketing, and employer branding
  • Experience with Workday Recruiting ATS
  • Proactive, consultative, and can independently drive projects and initiatives
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
