Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development:
- Develop new features and improve existing functionality for our iOS POS financing app.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to industry best practices.
- Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Integration:
- Integrate the app with third-party APIs, payment gateways, and financial services.
- Work with backend teams to ensure seamless communication between the app and the server.
- Security & Compliance:
- Implement security protocols, including encryption and secure storage, to protect sensitive financial data.
- Ensure the app adheres to regulatory compliance standards such as PCI DSS.
- Testing & Debugging:
- Perform thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation across various Android devices.
- Use automated testing frameworks to ensure reliability and avoid regressions.
- Performance Optimization:
- Monitor app performance and make necessary improvements to ensure optimal load times, responsiveness, and battery usage.
- User Experience:
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the application provides a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement in user interaction and design.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on iOS development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to keep our app cutting-edge.
- Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in iOS development, with a strong portfolio of published apps.
- Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
- Strong understanding of iOS frameworks, such as CoreData, CoreAnimation, and UIKit.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL to connect iOS applications to backend services.
- Knowledge of Apple Pay integration and in-app payment processing.
- Experience with push notifications, real-time data integration, and offline support.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment tools.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, especially related to financial services or point of sale solutions.
- Understanding of secure coding practices, including encryption, tokenization, and secure storage.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
- Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
