The Sr. IT Project Manager will lead multiple projects in the Digital Products space. The Project Manager will ensure project results contribute positive business value and meets agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality business results. This role engages with executives, business stake holders, and partners throughout all levels of the company to manage assigned projects. Additionally, the PM is looked upon as a mentor, leader, innovator, and thought partner within the IT PMO and inspires the team with a positive and collaborative style and fresh new ideas for PMO maturity.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and close of an entire IT project of any size and complexity
- Ability to contribute and champion usage of structured project management methodology (to include Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, Iterative, etc.)
- Lead project team members in achieving desired outcomes of deliverables
- Manage project dependencies, milestones, and critical path
- Analyze, manage, and report project performance, task delegation and stakeholder management
- Analyze multiple types and sources of information to generate insight on project performance
- Develop and executes an overall project schedule, including tasks, duration, dependencies, and resource assignments
- Control and tracks changes to scope, time, cost, quality, issues, and risk
- Elevate risks and issues to leadership level, as needed and assesses possible outcomes to determine solution in a timely manner
- Manage multiple small and medium sized projects at a time, or single large sized projects
- Ensure documentation and project deliverables meet quality standards
- Facilitate meetings, prepare reports, and maintain communication with stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in IT project management
- Excellent judgment and decisions making skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage 2-3 medium sized projects at one time, focusing on meeting deadlines based on logical work breakdown structures aligned to project schedules
- Strong ability to drive clarity and path forward from ambiguity
- Expert in relationship building, influencing, and communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and explain technically complex concepts to non- technical project team members and vice versa
- Ability to remain calm in high stress situations
- PMP certification preferred
- Agile certification preferred (PMI-ACP, CSM, etc.)
- Knowledge of Change Management methodologies ideal (ADKAR, etc.)
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Salesforce, Miro, M365 preferred
- Experience making polished PowerPoint presentations for executive audience
