We have an exciting opportunity for a Real Estate Manager to join our Real Estate team. In this role, you will initiate and own the execution of the new preschool growth strategy, within a territory. Working with internal and external teams to build coalition, the Manager will be a front-line decision-maker and a hub of expertise as your work culminates in recommendations to Senior Leadership and Executives. You will work closely with the Director of Real Estate, while being supported by partners in Design, Construction, and Finance. This field-based, remote opportunity will serve the Central Region of the U.S., with successful candidates located within an hour's drive of a major airport, and from there, three hours by plane of most major central region metros.
Responsibilities:
- Primary driver of market planning, site selection, LOI and lease deals, and real estate support throughout the development process in assigned metros in Central U.S. Achieve company growth goals while meeting financial requirements. Extensive travel required, expected to average 40%-60%
- Run and lead all aspects of activities of broker networks and preferred developers to ensure strategies and tactics align with company goals and direction
- Complete pipeline management of sites from identification through lease execution, requiring leadership of the process with external team members and internal partners
- Drive use of documentation, analytical decision support tools, and reporting which guide real estate related decisions, including internal processes and controls, portfolio analyses, new site proformas, GIS outputs, site approval documents, and more
- Contribute to the real estate strategy by providing guidance, feedback, and intelligence to real estate director in meeting new site goals at company levels while steering leadership responses to industry trends
- Periodic assistance to Asset Management and to other brand growth teams to guide portfolio optimization and investment decisions
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or business-related field strongly preferred
- 3 or more years validated experience in retail real estate, asset management, or development
- Experience leading and managing developers and broker networks with expertise in lease language structure, interpretation, and practical application
- Proficient in market planning and analytics, financial analysis, and real estate processes associated with a multi-state development program.
- "Team first" demeanor capable of changing direction quickly and handling multiple properties, with a mix of professional presence and the ability to have fun getting the work done while improving relationships across the business
- Solid understanding of Microsoft office suite, various GIS platforms (Sitewise), lease management and project management software (Lucernex)
