As Marketing and Analytics Project Manager with KinderCare, you'll report to the VP of Content Marketing to supervise and optimize content marketing initiatives.
You'll handle the entire content creation process to ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals through administration of the project management tool, providing data, reporting, and analysis to improve team efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project & Process Management
- Serve as the lead for content marketing projects, handling timelines, scope, and resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify plans, supervise progress, and adjust to meet deadlines.
- Implement and lead the project workflow system (e.g., Monday.com, Trello, etc.), ensuring timely content delivery
- Optimize workflow processes, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and improving efficiency
Communication
- Facilitate clear communication across teams, ensuring regular updates on project status
- Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to hold all parties accountable
- Manage partner feedback, calling out concerns when necessary to resolve issues
Capacity & Resource Management
- Track project capacity and handle freelance resources, adjusting workflows as needed
- Assess and balance workloads across the team to avoid bottlenecks
- Supervise freelancer budgets and ensure resources are allocated effectively
Asset Management
- Lead content audits and manage content databases, ensuring accurate tagging and organization
- Maintain a comprehensive ontology of content assets, ensuring easy access and retrieval
- Coordinate metadata tagging to ensure content can be easily tracked and updated
Editorial Calendar
- Develop and run the yearly editorial calendar, capturing both recurring and ad hoc initiatives
- Collaborate with internal clients and partners to forecast upcoming needs and improve content planning
- Regularly update and refine the calendar based on team and collaborator input
Metrics & Data Analysis
- Analyze performance metrics from projects and campaigns to drive strategy and process improvement
- Conduct post-project reviews to deliver insights and identify areas for future optimization.
- Collaborate with the Planning and Operations Manager to translate data into actionable strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 3 + years validated project management experience, preferably in content marketing or creative environments
- Excellent proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Trello) and data analysis
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Familiar with content management systems, metadata tagging, and content auditing processes
- Able to embrace change, anticipate needs, and collaborate optimally across teams
