The Field Finance Business Partner (Senior Financial Analyst - Field) is a key member of our FP&A team. This role requires building partnerships with Regional Vice Presidents, District Leaders, and cross-functional business partners to improve financial performance and accountability in the field. The ideal candidate will evaluate performance against various standards, set plans, identify trends, and drive outcomes to meet company goals. Additionally, the role involves solving problems, developing operational strategies to improve financial results, and growing business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Field Leadership on budgeting and forecasting.
  • Actively communicate, assess feedback, and resolve concerns with partners.
  • Research variances, develop forecasts, and analyze trends to meet budgets.
  • Understand and communicate the underlying causes of variances.
  • Partner with leaders to explore various options for achieving plans.
  • Identify data trends and prepare executive-level presentation materials.
  • Handle ad hoc projects, reporting, and financial modeling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Finance or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Over 5 years of experience in a similar role within a medium to large company.
  • Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Skilled in developing and understanding sophisticated financial models.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial planning concepts.
  • Sophisticated proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Experience with macros, specialized functions, and Visual Basic is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting software (ERP, Power BI, Hyperion Enterprise).
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Thorough with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in addressing groups and conducting training sessions.
  • Capability to interact with various management levels and build strong working partnerships.
