Kforce has a top client located in Scottsdale, AZ that is hiring an expert Senior Payroll Analyst to oversee the administration of compensation and benefits. As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processes while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.   • Analyze and Interpret Payroll Data: Review payroll data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve processes
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement new payroll policies and procedures that comply with state and federal laws, streamlining payroll and benefits administration
  • Payroll Processing: Organize and audit bi-weekly/monthly payroll for our employees across multiple states
  • Audit and Accuracy: Review payroll audit reports for accuracy, ensuring data integrity between our HRIS and other payroll software
  • Award Rates and Time Worked: Conduct annual audits of award rates and time worked
  • External Audits: Assist with external audits (including SOX and tax audits)
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the processing of benefits, including insurance, vacations, and retirement plans
  • Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and other relevant information

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 4 years of experience in processing payroll with some multi-state experience
  • Payroll Knowledge: Strong knowledge of payroll best practices and federal/state regulations regarding payroll, benefits, and taxes
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with payroll software
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong Excel skills, including Lookups and Pivot Tables

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
