Kforce has a client in Chandler, AZ that is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Controller to join their finance team.Summary:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, preferably with a Big 4 firm, and extensive experience in the manufacturing sector. This role is pivotal in managing their financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial insights to drive the company's growth and profitability.Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Controller will oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Conduct technical accounting research and prepare technical memos on complex accounting issues
- Manage the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including 10-Q, 10-K, and other regulatory filings
- As a Corporate Controller, you will coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements
- Ensure effective internal controls are in place and functioning to safeguard company assets
- Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for candidates with Big 4 public accounting background
- Proven experience in the manufacturing industry, with a deep understanding of industry-specific accounting issues
- Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting, including the preparation of technical memos and handling complex accounting matters
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
