Description

Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX seeking a Business Continuity Analyst. Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure the continuity and recovery of critical business operations in the event of a disruption
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, and determine the impact on business operations
  • Ensure compliance with NIST CSF, NCUA, and FFIEC standards and guidelines, and integrate these requirements into disaster recovery plans
  • Coordinate and conduct disaster recovery tests and exercises, evaluating the effectiveness of plans and making necessary adjustments based on test results and feedback
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and other departments to develop and maintain recovery strategies for various business functions
  • Provide training and awareness programs to ensure that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Maintain documentation related to disaster recovery plans, including policies, procedures, and recovery scripts
  • Monitor and report on the status of disaster recovery planning activities to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and implementation of business continuity plans and strategies to ensure overall organizational resilience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Business continuity certification (e.g., CBCP, MBCP, DRCS, or equivalent) is preferred
  • 2+ years of related experience in business continuity and disaster recovery
  • 1+ years of project experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation
  • Familiarity with NIST CSF, NCUA, and FFIEC standards and guidelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present information to stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business continuity planning software
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in the financial services industry or a similar highly regulated environment
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and data center operations
  • Experience with emergency management and crisis response planning
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
