Description
Kforce's client, a prestigious law firm in Roseland, NJ, is seeking a Billing Specialist. This role is 4 days in the office & 1 day remote. Qualified candidates should demonstrate knowledge in billing procedures, specifically using Elite Enterprises/3E software. This firm offers excellent benefits including 401k. Responsibilities include:
- Billing Specialist will handle all aspects of billing procedures for assigned attorneys, including but not limited to preparing transfers, write downs, write offs, time entry edits, address rate issues, respond to client inquiries, etc.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with billing attorneys, secretaries, and management
- Work with team to achieve firms billing goal
- Research update rates for increases and improper setup of clients and matters
- As a Billing Specialist, you will set up clients and their matters in appropriate electronic billing system and elite
- Prepare various billing reports
- Some electronic billing collection calls and/or correspondence

Requirements
- 1+ years of billing experience out of law firm with Elite Enterprises/3E software or similar law firm billing software
- Knowledge of Excel and some electronic billing systems to include Data Cert, Collaborati, Legal Solutions Suite, Bottom Line, Litigation Advisor and Tymetrix 360 (all a plus)
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to work well alone and as a member of a team
- Able to multitask and work well in a fast paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
