Azure Data Architect

Description

Kforce's client is looking to add an Azure Data Architect to their team. This is a full time direct position with Kforce's client, the role is onsite in downtown Phoenix, AZ.Solution Design:

• Collaborate with multiple Software Engineering teams to understand their business goals, technical requirements, and constraints
• Design scalable and cost-effective cloud architectures leveraging Microsoft Azure services
• Develop solution blueprints, architectural diagrams, and technical specifications

Architecture Development:

• Ensure solutions align with industry best practices, security standards, and compliance regulations
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to development teams throughout the development lifecycle

Data Management:

• Define standards for how data will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed across the organization
• Work through all stages of a data solution lifecycle: analyze/profile data, create conceptual, logical & physical data model designs, architect and design ETL, reporting, and analytics solutions
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the organization on various data warehouse products available in Azure

Data Accuracy and Accessibility:

• Implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility, constantly monitoring and refining the performance of data management systems

Technical Leadership:

• Participate and provide technical leadership in all phases of a project from discovery and planning through implementation and delivery. Work closely with DBAs, Developers, and Project Managers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions using Microsoft Azure services
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL design, and analytics solutions
• Strong understanding of industry best practices, security standards, and compliance regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certification in Data Engineering or related field
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for data engineering and deployment
• Familiarity with modern data technologies such as Big Data, Data Lakes, and NoSQL databases

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
