Position Overview
This role reports to the Director of Wholesale Majors, partnering to execute strategy, drive sales, pursue opportunity for department expansion, partner on strategy along with the WS Analytics team, while aligning on company objectives. The role will have direct sales responsibility for key accounts, including all Online points of contact, Military, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, and Macy's, with an added focus on strategic expansion and prospecting new partnerships to enhance market presence.

Additionally, this role will lead two direct reports: the Specialty Sales Analyst and Majors Analyst, ensuring cohesive and data-driven decision-making across both Specialty and Majors departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Manage, mentor, and develop two direct reports: the Specialty Sales Analyst and Majors Analyst, fostering a data-driven, collaborative, and results-oriented culture across both the Specialty and Majors Departments.
- Strategic Analytics & Insights: Lead the delivery of key insights into product performance, sales trends, and market opportunities across major accounts and specialty channels. Ensure alignment with company goals and KPIs, guiding the team to provide actionable recommendations for growth.
- Direct Sales Accountability: Oversee and manage sales performance for key accounts, including all Online points of contact, Military, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, and Macy's, ensuring strategies align with revenue goals and brand objectives.
- Strategic Expansion & New Partnerships: Drive efforts to expand market presence by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Prospect and develop potential new wholesale partnerships to enhance brand visibility and revenue growth.
- Performance Monitoring: Oversee tracking of SKU-level and door-level performance across accounts, ensuring that sales strategies are optimized to maximize revenue potential. Conduct regular performance reviews and realign strategies as necessary.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with operations, merchandising, and inventory teams to ensure product availability, correct inventory levels, and alignment with sales forecasts and goals.
- Partnership Development: Build, manage, and sustain long-term partnerships with major wholesale accounts, driving both revenue and brand presence. Explore and evaluate new market opportunities, ensuring optimal assortments and product positioning.
- Revenue & Margin Optimization: Lead initiatives to enhance product mix, margin performance, and sell-through rates. Ensure strategic product assortments based on in-depth analysis of performance data.
- Executive Reporting: Summarize and present key findings, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership, focusing on the strategic alignment and performance against sales objectives.
Travel Expectations
- Quarterly travel to NYC market in February, May, August, and November.
- Additional travel as needed for in-person meetings with key wholesale partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, with a preference for Business, Retail Merchandising, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in a retail or wholesale environment, with a strong background in analytics, strategy, and team leadership.
- Proficiency in retail math, inventory management, and business analytics, with advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving results in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in the jewelry or accessories industry is a must.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
- Based in Austin, TX, preferred; remote candidates considered.
