Position Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Director, Retail Operations, the Sr. Manager, Training will be responsible the development of all training materials used in retail stores and beyond. The focus will be on developing materials that are engaging, measurable and improve the WOW Service Experience in stores.
Responsibilities:
- Develop training tools that educate employees on the brand, customer experience and product.
- Drive 360 campaign development in partnership with Design, Production and Marketing to elevate and create consistent messaging for brand and product training.
- Develop training that can easily be implemented across various regions and new business units.
- Manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of materials to the field in a clear and organized manner.
- Evaluate learning programs and tools to continuously improve training solutions.
- Prepare materials for large scale meetings.
- Research and implement new educational technologies and/or methodologies to enhance the customer experience and drive brand engagement in new and innovative ways.
- Remain up to date on emerging and future trends across all relevant industries to identify best in class solutions.
- Hires, Train and Develop direct reports that will support the above initiatives.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8-10 years retail experience with a Customer is our Boss mindset
- A proven ability to achieve departmental objectives, strategies and develop plans with achievable timelines
- A solutions-oriented mentality with a data driven approach
- Relevant work experience in creating and delivering materials to a broad audience
- Previous experience with product storytelling
- Experience developing internal communications for various levels within the company
- Expertise with learning technology tools, like Articulate Rise, Adobe InDesign, and ADP.
- A growth mindset: track record of leveraging past learnings, encouraging new ideas and smart risk taking in self and others
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build cross functional partnerships to make effective decisions collaboratively

- Travel required: 50%
