Basics
- The Kendra Scott Internship experience is a 9-week, paid program with the requirement to be in Austin, TX. The internship will begin on June 2nd and end July 31st.
- This is a full-time, 40/hour a week, in person opportunity. This program will be offered at $17/hour.

Position Overview
The Philanthropy intern will be responsible for supporting three different channels of the Philanthropy team: Corporate Philanthropy, The Kendra Scott Foundation, and Employee Philanthropy Engagement. Within these three channels they will support national campaigns, seasonal launches, partnerships, donation requests, events and activations all that further help speak to and support our philanthropic pillar. This role will report directly to the Director of Corporate Philanthropy with support from the Philanthropy Events Lead and together you will work in close partnership to bring a myriad of philanthropic campaigns, events, volunteer days, etc. from idea to execution.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Director of Corporate Philanthropy and Philanthropy Events Lead to help manage all philanthropic partners
- Help project manage and develop briefs to support upcoming philanthropic marketing campaigns for roll out, communicating with cross functional partners to ensure a seamless launch
- Attend cross-functional meetings; recapping meeting notes with clear actionable takeaways
- Plan and execute a home office volunteer day(s) to roll out to corporate employees
- Help prepare for and execute all local Kendra Scott Foundation philanthropic events and programs
- Manage the Kendra Gives Back email inbox in a timely manner, assisting customers with questions and troubleshooting
- Fulfill donation requests through the NuOrder system
- Assist with our grants management system, Submittable, and support customers and field teams with any issues
- Communicate philanthropic campaigns and initiatives to the field, and update any necessary trainings
- Create robust recaps following the conclusion of marketing campaigns and events
- Support the philanthropy team by providing a fresh perspective on processes, communication and marketing campaigns
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A car
- Understanding and acknowledgement that this position will require working events outside of the normal office hours, which will be flexed to adhere to 40 hours a week.
- Project management skills
- Interest and knowledge in the philanthropic space
- Experience working with non-profits through college/high school social organizations or personal volunteering

- Ability to speak to external partners in a professional way
