Position Overview:

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Data Delivery Manager. Reporting to the Vice President of Digital Technology, the person in this role will oversee the end-to-end delivery of data initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, on-time delivery, and high-quality outputs. Our ideal candidate will work collaboratively across business units to ensure the adoption of best practices in data delivery and data management and will be a key leader on the Digital Technology team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of data projects, including data integrations, reporting solutions and advanced analytics initiatives, ensuring they meet scope, schedule and budget requirements.
  • Define data management and delivery strategic objectives along with project roadmaps, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Facilitate collaboration between technical and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions that drive data-based decision-making.
  • Work closely with data architects, engineers and external vendors to create scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and operational systems.
  • Play a critical role in designing and maintaining data models that align with business needs and technical requirements.
  • Establish and support best practices in data governance, quality and analytics delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery or data integrity.
  • Drive the adoption of modern data technologies and tools to increase data management and analytics capabilities.
  • Continuously improve delivery frameworks and methodologies to increase efficiency.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in technology related field
  • 6+ years' experience in data and analytics delivery, project management or similar role
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex data projects in an enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, analytics platforms and tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Qlik, Snowflake, Matillion, etc)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Trello, etc)
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • A solutions-oriented mentality with a data-driven approach
  • Knowledge of basic accounting/budgeting principles (eg, capital and operating expense), and the ability to apply those principles to projects and budgets
