In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow with a team that is fast-paced and dedicated. We are looking for candidates with a strong CS background, who are natural team players to act as a key part of the QA team in testing our KeepTruckin ELD (Electronic Logging Device, an in-vehicle data acquisition system) and non-ELD integrated software features. This is a cross-functional role that partners with our Product, Design, Embedded Development teams, as well as our software QA engineering teams in the USA and abroad.
What You'll Do:
- Test KT hardware devices
- Test KT releases (Embedded, FrontEnd, BackEnd, Mobile)
- Develop and execute full system regression and new features Test Plans
- Test implementation, test execution, and data validation
- Develop QA artifacts such as bug reports, improvement suggestions, and requirement traceability matrices
- Define, estimate, track, and report progress of quality assurance efforts
- Collaborate with other departments and facilitate escalation and/or triage of issues
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years experience in S/W quality assurance, including black-box testing, user, acceptance testing, usability testing, end-to-end testing, exploratory testing, ad-hoc testing. (white box testing is a plus)
- Thorough understanding of software development life cycle
- Experience creating detailed regression and incremental Test Plans
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, KANBAN, and S/W testing life cycles
- Knowledge of issue tracking tools (JIRA preferable)
- Knowledge of test management tools (testRAIL)
- Experience testing embedded FW is a strong plus
- Familiarity with Linux is a plus
