Who You Are

We're looking for a highly analytical, strategically minded Performance Marketing Analyst to join our Performance Marketing team. This role sits within the performance marketing team—not on the broader centralized analytics team—so you'll be deeply embedded in our channel strategy and work hand-in-hand with our channel managers to drive growth across paid search, paid social, display, video, and emerging platforms.

You’ll be our go-to expert for performance insights across paid media, working hands-on with platform data (e.g., Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TTD) and back-end metrics (conversion data, Salesforce). Your insights will play a key role in campaign optimization and channel strategy.

In this role, you'll lead ad hoc analysis, ROI assessments, A/B testing, and support forecasting and scenario planning at the channel level. You’ll also act as a critical bridge between performance marketing and data analytics—translating insights from tools like MMM and multi-touch attribution (e.g., HockeyStack) into actionable, channel-specific strategies.

We’re looking for someone who’s fluent in both analytics and paid media, with experience in a B2B environment and a strong understanding of the full marketing funnel.

How You Will Do Your Work

As Performance Marketing Abakyst, how results are achieved is paramount for your success and ultimately result in our success as an organization. In this role, your foundational knowledge, skills, abilities and personal attributes are anchored in the following:

    • Campaign Insights & Optimization: Partner closely with channel managers (search, social, video, programmatic, etc.) to analyze campaign performance and deliver data-driven, actionable recommendations that drive growth and efficiency.

    • Paid Media ROI Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses to assess campaign incrementality and ROI across channels, providing insights into what’s working and where we can improve.

    • Data Translation (Attribution & Modeling): Translate insights from marketing mix modeling (MMM), multi-touch attribution tools (e.g., HockeyStack), and internal reporting into clear, actionable strategies for channel optimization.

    • Forecasting & Scenario Planning: Build and maintain channel-level forecasts and scenario models in collaboration with the Senior Manager of Performance Marketing and the Finance team to support budget planning and investment decisions.

    • Down-Funnel Campaign Performance: Use CRM and Salesforce data to assess lead quality and conversion outcomes, identifying which campaigns and tactics drive high-value leads—and where there’s room to optimize.

    • Full Funnel Channel Measurement: Develop measurement frameworks in partnership with Data Science for mid- and upper-funnel channels (e.g., CTV, YouTube) to demonstrate their impact and support a cohesive, multi-touch strategy.

    • Test & Learn Program Management: Own and support the A/B testing roadmap for the performance team—including test design, execution, analysis, and rollout of insights.

    • Measurement Best Practices: Help establish best practices in paid media measurement, data integrity, and performance storytelling.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in performance marketing analytics or digital media analytics

  • Experience working in a B2B marketing environment and understanding of the B2B sales funnel, lead stages, and conversion metrics

  • Strong knowledge of paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic/display, YouTube) and their respective data/reporting capabilities

  • Deep understanding of performance metrics ( ROAS, CPL, CPIO, incrementality, attribution, etc.) and how to tell a story with data

  • Hands-on experience with multi-touch attribution tools (e.g., HockeyStack) and/or MMM

  • Strong analytical toolkit: Excel/Google Sheets modeling, SQL, dashboarding (Tableau, Looker, etc.)

  • Exceptional communication skills—you can distill complex data into clear insights and compelling recommendations

  • A bias for action—you don’t just report on performance, you help drive it

  • Passion for continuous learning and experimentation in a fast-paced environment

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $109,000 to $119,900 per year.
