Who You Are

Justworks is looking for a Web leader to transform justworks.com into a best-in-class B2B website. As Director of Web Experience, you will be responsible for evolving our website into the centerpiece of the Justworks growth engine where it will support all audiences that interact with the site as they progress through the buyer journey. You will shape the vision, strategy, and execution of our web presence, ensuring that Justworks delivers a cutting-edge digital experience that drives awareness, engagement, and conversions while integrating seamlessly into the company's broader data and technology ecosystem.


This role requires a strategic thinker, growth marketer, and digital experience leader who thrives in a data-driven environment. You are deeply familiar with modern web technologies, SEO, CRO, UX, and digital personalization. You have a track record of leading high-performing teams and collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering teams to create seamless and impactful web experiences.


This role reports to the VP of Growth Marketing and will oversee a team of web producers and conversion specialists while partnering with Engineering to lead a dedicated squad of web developers and designers.


Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On


Strategy & Roadmap Development



  • Lead the strategy and develop the roadmap to make www.justworks.com the centerpiece of a high-performance growth engine that builds awareness, generates demand, and supports the Justworks ecosystem.

  • Own and manage the web roadmap, prioritizing high-impact projects that support business initiatives, company KRs, user insights, and performance data.

  • Develop the site architecture and content model to deliver the digital experiences that will effectively engage all visitors to the site.

  • Lead the effort to use AI to create personalized web experiences for all visitors, ensuring dynamic, tailored content delivery that enhances user engagement and conversion.


Leadership & Collaboration



  • Manage a team of Web Producers and Conversion Rate Optimization Managers to continuously optimize site experience and performance.

  • Lead a cross-functional squad of three dedicated web developers and a web UX designer focused on enhancing the web experience.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations to integrate web data into Justworks’ martech ecosystem, ensuring seamless measurement and optimization.

  • Partner with the Content team to ensure best-in-class site architecture, technical SEO, and structured data implementation to drive organic growth.

  • Work with the Brand and Creative team to ensure justworks.com is the best possible representation of the Justworks brand.


Performance & Optimization



  • Manage site performance and own KRs for site traffic and conversion rates

  • Create seamless, high-conversion experiences for all users, including prospects, customers, and partners.

  • Drive web personalization in partnership with Marketing Operations and Data teams, leveraging CDPs like Hightouch and personalization platforms like Ninetailed integrated with Contentful.

  • Develop a web analytics and reporting framework that enables data-driven decision-making and provides insights on website health, traffic sources, and conversion performance.

  • Stay ahead of web experience trends and best practices in B2B SaaS, ensuring Justworks continues to lead in digital experience innovation.

Qualifications



  • Minimum of 8+ years experience managing websites, SEO, CRO, and digital experiences, preferably in B2B SaaS

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience managing people/teams, including coaching and developing marketers.

  • Proven track record of leading website initiatives that drive conversion and impact revenue.

  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO, structured data, and search algorithm trends.

  • Experience managing web reporting, analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Heap, Tableau), A/B testing tools (VWO), and personalization platforms.

  • High degree familiarity with web data and a track record of leveraging data to build and power engaging web experiences.

  • Hands-on experience managing a web roadmap and prioritizing initiatives but not directly executing on deployments or experiments.

  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Bias towards action, with a test-and-learn approach that values iteration and speed-to-market over perfection.


The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $198,000.00 to $237,600.00 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.  Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
