Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Global Events to lead our global events strategy within the J.P. Morgan Workplace Solutions business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive events program that aligns with our business objectives, enhances our brand presence, and fosters engagement with key stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in event management, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global events strategy that supports the goals and objectives of the Workplace Solutions business.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-impact events, including conferences, roundtables, workshops, and client engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, communications, and business leaders, to ensure alignment and integration of event initiatives.
  • Manage a small team of event professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and professional development.
  • Oversee the development of event budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, partners, and industry associations to enhance event offerings and capabilities.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve event strategies and deliver innovative experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to event management and execution.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness and impact of events, utilizing data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in event management, with a focus on global or large-scale events.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into impactful event strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support global events.
