Join our Securities Services business as a Working Student in Frankfurt, where you'll help institutional clients optimize their portfolios in diverse global markets. You'll be part of the Institutional Shareholder Services team, managing clients' investments into German Special Funds. This role demands proactivity, responsiveness, and a promote for excellence

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Working Student (all genders) who would like to join our Securities Services Team in Frankfurt as soon as possible. The working hours are 19 hours per week during the university semester and full-time during university breaks with in-person work schedule.

The program lasts a year, and if you hold student status for a longer period than the initial offer, there might be a possibility to extend the contract for another year with your existing team or as a rotation to a different team (post an application and assessment process).

As a Working Student in our Custody Middle Office, you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of cross-product activities and support. Your responsibilities will include Trade Settlement Instruction Capture, Settlement, Fails Management, Cash Instruction Capture, Overdraft Monitoring, Asset Servicing Instruction Capture, and Income/Corporate Actions completions. This role offers you a chance to gain hands-on experience and contribute to our team's success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare clients' activity in unit deals and distributions for German Special Funds
  • Deliver unit deal details to internal teams
  • Maintain the transaction overview
  • Manage e-mail inbox for the team
  • Assure quality (checking if all bookings have been processed)
  • Create and submit daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports for senior management
  • Support other teams in Custody Middle Office if required

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Studying towards a degree in Business Administrations, Finance, Economics or similar
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good time management skills
  • Reliability and team-player personality
  • Strong personal and relationship building skills
  • Fluent in German and English
