Job Summary:
As a Wealth Management, Banker Team Lead, Executive Director for China Market team at JP Morgan, you will be responsible for leading a team of Bankers, support and manage all aspects of client relationships across the team. Whilst you are responsible for the management and strategic growth of respective market, you are also accountable for the client experience and engaging our resources to deliver a complete wealth management solution to the clients within the Asia regulatory framework. Job Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of Bankers for China market. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to a team of Bankers and manage day-to-day operations to ensure systematic, forward thinking and disciplined approach to sales management, client acquisition, and servicing UHNW clients . Supervise, coach, and train junior staff to maximize their individual contribution to the team as required, and ensure an effective approach to hiring and retaining the best talent, performance management, talent management, training and integration of new joiners within the market In addition to day-to-day management of the coverage market, this role is required to grow the team's book of business and responsible for prospecting and developing leads for new clients. Also, build trust and develop relationships with clients to help the client advisor team manage particularly large or complex relationships. Keep track of Clients, Assets Under Management (AUM) and Revenues using our internal systems; periodic calculation of account performance. Articulate and deliver strategic messages to their portfolio, prepare presentations and proposals, and take both solicited and unsolicited orders in all asset classes. Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities, risks. Partner with clients including (but not limited to) updating Know Your Client (KYC) information, client suitability profile, hosting client meetings, monitoring funds/asset transfer and handling client ad-hoc queries. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the firm's business model across the coverage market. Champion the firm's core standards for culture & conduct and promote a culture of Risk & Control in line with the firms standards & expectations. Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policiesRequired Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline Minimum 10 years' experience in wealth management space, along with strong client and stakeholder management skills is required. Understand and have working knowledge of the private banking key regulatory and control environments that are relevant to the team and be able to manage the accounts accordingly. Proven client management skills and effective communication skills (oral and written) who can positively engage and influence clients as well as internal stakeholders. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, and must be a team player and able to work with different business functions across the bank. Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills. Operate with a high level of integrity and risk awareness. As the role is an important contributor to the strategy of JP Morgan, comfort and experience working with and reporting to senior management is required. Fluent written and spoken Business Mandarin is essential to support Chinese speaking clients from China. Candidates must have a willingness to travel frequently.Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities: Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses preferred. However, if you do not possess an existing Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) Register in Singapore, you will be required to sit for Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Paper 1 & 2, in order to get registered as a Representative with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the private banking industry. Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines. Strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments.
