As a Trust Professional, you will support a team of Trust Officers and Administrators in the management of fiduciary accounts. Under their supervision, the Trust Professional assists in the daily management of the trust accounts in accordance with the Bank's fiduciary responsibilities as trustee and executor. You will perform diverse administrative functions requiring confidentiality, initiative, thoughtfulness, and follow-through.

Trusts & Estates services and capabilities are an integral part of the Private Bank's offering to clients. With over 150 years of experience in serving as a corporate fiduciary for families, it is important that our Trusts and Estates services are delivered by the most capable people, with technical experience as well as the ability to interact well with a variety of types of families and individuals.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client Engagement - provide exceptional client service while performing client call backs and collection of client documentation
  • Risk & Controls - adhere to and maintain the firm's controls policies and procedure as well as protecting client assets against fraud
  • Trust Administration - partner with Trust Officers and Trust Administrators in all aspects of trust administration, including approval of transaction processing and preparation of trust and financial specific documents
  • Partnership - effectively collaborate with respective client facing teams and internal business groups to deliver and execute client transactions

  • Ability to handle complex and challenging situations from origination to completion
  • Strong initiative, energy and confidence to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Good judgment and discretion, as Trust Professional work with highly confidential information
  • Must exhibit a high degree of motivation, sense of urgency and professional demeanor
  • Skilled at multi-tasking and managing priorities effectively
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships bot internally and with external clients
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and fast paced business and technology environment
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues
  • Ability to cross-train and coach others as a team

Technology

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to learn procedures and proprietary software quickly

Experience and Education

  • 2-3 years of experience in financial services
  • Prior wealth management and trust management experience preferred
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred
