The ReEntry Program is a 15-week fellowship program, beginning April 21, 2025 and ending July 31, 2025 with the prospect of an offer for permanent employment with JPMorganChase at the end of the program. The permanent placements will be based on both business needs and candidate skill set.

Wealth Management Operations at JPMorganChase

From our offices in Hong Kong and Singapore, J.P. Morgan's Asia Private Bank serves the complex wealth management needs of ultra-high net worth clients in countries across the region. You will be part of the Private Banking Operations team in Singapore, focused on ensuring the Bank's operations run efficiently and effectively.

  • Asia Credit Middle Office:

The Asia Credit Middle Office (CMO) team is essential to the Asia Wealth Management business, focusing on the full lifecycle of lending transactions. They manage credit facility documentation and maintenance, with Credit Deal Specialists ensuring efficient client reviews and changes. The Securities Based Lending unit underwrites low-risk, collateralized facilities, while the Collateral Monitoring team oversees collateral structures to address any shortfalls or credit limit breaches. The Reporting and Covenants team supports the business with management information systems, regulatory reporting, and controls testing.
  • Client Operations:

The Client Operations team ensures smooth client account onboarding and maintenance, adhering to regulatory and internal standards. They work closely with bankers during the New Client Onboarding process to ensure due diligence and risk management. Quality Control ensures KYC compliance and manages high-risk client approvals. Periodic Review and KYC Maintenance keep client profiles current and manage documentation requests. Business Sustainment Operations focuses on key initiatives, while Business Enablement & Data provides insights to improve efficiency.
  • Private Bank Asia Investment Operations:

Private Bank Asia Investment Operations team focuses on providing first class operational support and services for Asia Pacific private banking clients. The team oversees daily operational activities from timely trade capture, trade lifecycle management, accurate settlements and transaction reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and managing operational risks associated with investment operations. The team works closely with business stakeholders, addressing client inquiries and is also responsible in improving operational efficiencies through process improvements to enhance the overall client experience.

What We Look For

We are seeking experienced and motivated Associates to join our Private Banking Operations team. We are looking to fill roles across trading middle office, client account maintenance and also credit operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders, risk and control partners, compliance and other partners to ensure the bank's operations run effectively and efficiently.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance or other relevant disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years of core operations experience with domain knowledge of either client account maintenance, credit operations or trading middle-office.
  • Highly disciplined, self-starter, possessing adaptability to learn new tasks and demonstrate a willingness to understand the details of a process.
  • Strong ownership with ability to operate in a flexible, dynamic environment where creative and strategic thinking are also required in driving solution, initiatives, and projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (partnership mindset).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Managed/Worked in an operational team using Murex or Temenos will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Python and Alteryx CORE certification is a plus.

This role is intended to be for an initial term of approximately 15 weeks only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment.
