Job Summary

As a Wealth Management, Client Ops Suitability Specialist within the Account Maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on existing brokerage accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to input data for Suitability and Trading capabilities. This role requires a high degree of discipline, a strong attention to detail, and a solid control mindset. You will work closely with internal business partners to facilitate client and account maintenance updates across multiple products and platforms. This is an opportunity to provide subject matter expertise to the front office, client service, and other cross-functional partners, while adhering to guidelines set by FINRA and the SEC.

Job responsibilities

  • Review and interpret client-executed documentation for brokerage account maintenance.
  • Perform suitability updates based on client or business partner instructions.
  • Research client documentation to ensure accurate suitability.
  • Authenticate instructions from authorized account holders or contacts.
  • Prefill documentation for client review and execution.
  • Maintain outlined policies and procedures diligently.
  • Serve as the first line of defense for escalations.
  • Assist with team projects and initiatives.
  • Run basic reports, including trend analysis.
  • Promote a controls environment to mitigate risk.
  • Verify work processed by team members to resolve data issues.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
