The Technology Risk and Control (TRC) team at JPMorgan Chase is a critical component of the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls (CTC) organization. The team is responsible for coordinating the firm's operational risk management framework, with a focus on controls, policies, processes, and standards. The CTC organization partners with all lines of business to design, adopt, and integrate appropriate controls, ensuring the firm remains safe, stable, and resilient.
As a Vice President, you will lead process and knowledge governance across the team and its services. Your role will involve delivering key findings and metrics to Line of Business (LOB) compliance teams and stakeholders, ensuring the firm is aware of risk exposure. You will lead efforts in Technology Risk and Control, focusing on the ongoing delivery and improvement of operational controls, including the documentation of controls and the implementation of a governance process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Framework Integration: Lead the integration of the firm's operational risk management framework, focusing on technology risk and control.
- Risk Reviews: Conduct risk reviews and vulnerability assessments, identifying threats and communicating with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Compliance Strategy: Define and implement strategies for compliance with the firm's operational risk management framework.
- Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for framework-related inquiries.
- Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across the firm, including CTC, Enterprise Technology, and Information Risk Managers, to mitigate risks and achieve common goals.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Provide expertise and guidance on technology risk and control requirements and approaches.
- Process Improvement: Focus on the ongoing delivery and improvement of operational controls across the Service Desk end-to-end processes.
- Documentation: Oversee the documentation of controls and ensure they are up-to-date and comprehensive.
- Governance Implementation: Manage and develop a governance process to ensure consistent application and monitoring of controls.
- Quality Assurance: Execute QA manual activities as needed to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of operational controls.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: proven experience in technology risk management, operational controls, or a related field.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of technology risk and control frameworks, as well as operational control processes.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex risk scenarios and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISA, or CISSP are a plus.
