Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Developer to join our Tools & Automation team. The ideal candidate will drive the development of innovative solutions using advanced AI technologies, including generative AI copilots and large language model (LLM) agents. This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record in AI development, eager to make a significant impact on our mission to empower Compliance, Conduct, and Operational Risk (CCOR) teams.

The Compliance, Conduct, and Operational Risk (CCOR) Tools & Automation team is part of the firm's CCOR organization within the second line of defense. The CCOR organization is responsible for the design and execution of the CCOR program, which consists of the second line of defense's responsibilities in managing the firm's compliance, conduct, and operational risk. The Tools & Automation team works with CCOR functional groups to deliver a suite of AI-driven solutions designed to facilitate data-driven decision-making and enable proactive risk management. The team is tasked with designing, developing, and implementing AI copilots and LLM-based solutions to support the effective identification, monitoring, and escalation of risk issues for reporting to senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • As an experienced AI Solutions Lead, you will be responsible for partnering with product teams to align strategic programs, transforming the CCOR Officer experience, and advancing process maturity through data, analytics, and emerging technologies like AI and LLMs.
  • You will analyze and understand current processes, collaborating with CCOR leaders to implement transformative solutions using data insights and cutting-edge technologies.
  • In your role, you will spearhead the design, development, and deployment of AI copilots and LLM-based solutions to optimize workflows and boost efficiency across CCOR teams.
  • You will guide and mentor team members while working closely with technology teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure alignment with firm-wide standards.
  • Leveraging modern AI, machine learning (ML), and natural language processing (NLP) techniques, you will create self-serve tools and generate actionable data insights.
  • You will manage the design and development process throughout the project life cycle, ensuring data requirements are met and integrating AI solutions effectively.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and security of AI solutions, you will maintain adherence to compliance and governance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; a Master's or Ph.D. is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on AI and automation technologies.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Python, APIs, and automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, UI Path).
  • Proven expertise in generative AI and familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Bard, or Copilot.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and implement new technologies and contribute to strategic team goals.

Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of LLMs, AI development, machine learning frameworks, and NLP techniques.
  • A track record of successful AI and automation project delivery in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or ThoughtSpot.
