As a Valuation Controller Associate in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. You will be responsible for generating and managing comprehensive reports at the firmwide level, with detailed granularity across various dimensions such as Region, Line of Business (LOB), Desk, and Legal Entity. This role also involves handling regulatory submissions and all using advanced data analytics tools like Tableau, Alteryx, and Python.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver monthly and quarterly reports with precision and accuracy, ensuring alignment with firmwide standards and specific requirements across multiple levels, including Region, LOB, Desk, and Legal Entity.
- Collaborate with all Lines of Business to gather and consolidate data according to reporting timelines. Ensure the timely execution and delivery of final reports to management.
- Conduct thorough reviews and due diligence of input data by reconciling figures with other available platforms. Verify and validate commentaries provided by LOBs before submitting Executive Management Reports (EMR) to stakeholders.
- Address and resolve ad hoc requests and audit queries from LOBs, Business Management, and the Management Team related to reporting activities.
- Maintain and periodically update Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that process documentation remains current and accurate.
- Partner effectively with Business, Technology, and Controls teams to enhance reporting processes and ensure seamless operations.
- Continuously identify and implement opportunities to automate manual processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy within the reporting system.

- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Tableau, Python, SQL, and Alteryx is highly advantageous.
- Willingness to adapt and extend working hours during peak month-end periods to ensure timely report delivery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in financial reporting and regulatory submissions is a plus.
