Job responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to write meaningful and human product content
  • Connect customer journey needs with business goals, design direction, and brand guidelines to create content effectively for end-to-end customer experiences
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Create and help maintain writing guidelines that are in line our brand and voice.
  • Develop messaging with an eye toward accessibility and localizing for different markets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization who come at experience design from different angles-like PR, brand, legal, risk, and more-to facilitate progress and influence direction
  • Recommend product names and messaging for new products.
  • Partner with our brand, marketing, localization, and customer service teams to create a cohesive experience.
  • Partner with UX Researchers and Information Architects to observe and conduct user testing and research to inform our experiences.
  • Champion the value of UX writing among other teams

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Content Strategy, English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Human Centered Design or other area(s) of relevant focus
  • Significant years of experience writing digital content writing and editing
  • Native fluency in written and verbal English.
  • Experienced in managing and collaborating with stakeholders, and comfortable prioritising to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • A critical thinker who doesn't shy away from asking the right questions
  • A guardian and advocate for customers' experience
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Adept at following processes and you've previously worked in a regulated environment
  • Experience of working in enterprise-level companies and the tooling used to run projects - Confluence, Jira in particular
  • You value being part of a thriving team, and you look for opportunities to add value and make an impact
  • You seek to leave things better than you found them, and leave a positive footprint wherever you go
