User Experience Content Design Senior Associate

As a Content Design Senior Associate on the Auto Lending team, you will play an important role, shaping customer experiences and building customer confidence across our products and services. Using your expertise in content design, you will plan, create, and structure product content within a user experience design framework. While collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure narrative consistency, your influence will extend to product design, architecture, and functionality.

Auto content designers are fully embedded members of our product design team, collaborating on every phase of the design process. We work in sprints with an understand, explore, test and iterate approach. In addition to collaborating on the design of products, features and flows, you will play a key role in testing and iterating content to optimize engagement, conversion and brand perception. You will also flex your copywriting and storytelling skills, helping to evolve the tone, voice and style of Chase Auto; ensuring that our digital products amplify our marketing efforts; and creating a seamless, best-in-class experience across customers' entire car ownership journey.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and implement content strategies for products and features, ensuring alignment with user experience principles and business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging, user-friendly content that is accessible and intuitive for a diverse audience
  • Create taxonomies, incorporating user feedback and insights to continually improve content organization and structure
  • Adopt brand voice to produce clear, concise, and engaging content that communicates complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences
  • Analyze content performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for optimization and enhancement of user experiences
  • Adhere to and help evolve content standards (voice, tone, patterns, etc.)
  • Collaborate hands-on with designers to explore design solutions and create iterative prototypes
  • Protect the firm by following content governance rules and securing the necessary approvals from legal, risk and compliance partners

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience in content design or user experience writing, or equivalent expertise in copywriting with a focus on digital experiences
  • Experience in creating content architectures, storytelling, and clear and concise writing
  • Demonstrated experience in applying accessibility guidelines and inclusive design to create user-friendly content
  • Experience with iterative design techniques, incorporating user feedback and insights for continuous improvement
  • Proficient technical literacy in content platforms and understanding their impact on user experience
  • Adaptive learner in new financial services products and offerings

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Advanced skills in copywriting; especially writing headlines and calls to action that maximize engagement and conversion
  • Experience writing for marketing, advertising and/or branding of consumer products
  • Experience measuring the effectiveness of content through both quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Expert in the craft of storytelling
  • Advanced understanding of how words impact human-computer interaction
  • Experience with content strategy, including heuristic audits, creation of content matrices, site-mapping and pattern design
  • Strong opinions, softly held, about the Oxford comma
