U.S. Private Bank- Product Owner Executive Director

The Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Product Team leads data strategy and support for the core data used across AWM needed to run our business, such as client and account data, reference data, product data, securities and pricing data, transactions and holdings, and index data.

As a Product Management Executive Director within the Party and Account (P&A) Team you will lead initiatives to improve the client information product, develop user-friendly experiences for party and account maintenance processes, and collaborate with various teams to enhance the online experience for Private Bank clients. This role requires innovation and the ability to synthesize user research, client feedback, and competitive dynamics to improve product concepts.

Job responsibilities

  • Execute the product vision, applying best practices to leverage market and technology opportunities
  • Evaluate requirements when determining what should be built, and describe what is needed with well-written stories, specifying acceptance criteria for stories, track issues and action items, measuring progress e.g., value delivered to clients in each iteration
  • Define and implement common capabilities and micro-services solution to be re-used across the WM
  • Drive data quality testing and improvement efforts, integrating data into analytics platforms for advanced projects like machine learning and AI
  • Manage processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data-related risks, ensuring compliance with firm-wide policies
  • Develop consistent data definitions, define data 'golden sources' and create standardization
  • Oversee conceptual, logical, and physical data models that conform to data standards and conventions
  • Perform data analysis, creates data flows, and provide data sourcing/data mapping to Party & account consumers
  • Support the organization's transformation into an agile-driven, product-based model, leading change management initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 6+ years of experience in a major financial services organization with data project or project management experience
  • Practical knowledge of project management enabling business transformation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a group, identify tasks, and ensure progress of objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze project data, prepare, and present project reports
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, process-mapping tools (e.g., Visio), and analytical tools like Alteryx Experience using process-mapping tools (e.g. MS Visio, Lucid Board, Jira etc.)
  • Proficiency in Agile (Scrum) development methodology
  • Experience leading a high performing team of Product Owners

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with data analysis and party & account data strategy
  • Wealth Management experience preferred.
