As a Travel Agent you will provide expert advice on all aspects of customer travel requests, including quotes, reservations, and post-travel support, with the goal of fostering customer loyalty. You will utilize various tools and systems used in the agency and have the opportunity to suggest projects and initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer service.

Job responsibilities

  • Vacation Planning: Analyze, plan, and organize all components of vacation trips, from the initial request to completion, for vacation clients.
  • Project Participation: Engage in projects suggested by your supervisor that aim to optimize operations and explore new business models.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and distribute client travel documents.
  • Hotel and Supplier Inspections: Participate in inspections of hotels and suppliers, and propose innovative experiences or new suppliers to the relevant department when required.
  • Administrative Processes: Comply with administrative processes, including billing and providing support for supplier payments.

Required qualifications:

  • Experience: Recent experience in similar roles, ideally in travel agencies.
  • Language Skills: Basic proficiency in English.
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • System Knowledge: Familiarity with Sabre, Amadeus, or similar systems is desired.
