Job Summary: As a Trading Services Manager - Vice President within the Confirmations team, you will be responsible for issuing and executing OTC Legal Documents with clients in a timely manner. You will have the opportunity to understand the fundamentals of the product and underlying instruments and business strategy, and to continually improve control infrastructure to meet regulatory requirements and maintain control. We value your ability to promote efficiency, manage new analysis requirements, and oversee data gathering processes. Your role is crucial in ensuring all issues are investigated and resolved in a timely manner as per Business Standards. You will also have the chance to contribute to automation projects and improve controls in the process to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance to Regulatory rules

Job responsibilities:

  • Draft and affirm legal confirmations, understanding the legal aspects related to derivatives confirmations.
  • Ensure legal documentation issued to clients aligns with the Risk Management System.
  • Drive efficiency in current processes and identify incorrect booking practices.
  • Educate the Middle Office on the impact of these practices.
  • Ensure all issues are investigated and resolved promptly as per Business Standards.
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with internal Lines of Business, including Middle Office, Front Office, and internal counterparts.
  • Contribute to automation projects.
  • Improve controls in the process to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance with regulatory rules.
  • Manage new analysis requirements across multiple stakeholders.
  • Oversee the data gathering process, analyze data, and report MIS utilizing various data sources.
  • Produce time-sensitive daily reports with actionable data for Front Office, Middle Office, or Back Office for break resolutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • CA/MBA with 11-13 years or Graduate/Post-Graduate with 14-15 years of experience in operations.
  • Motivated individual with strong partnership abilities.
  • ISDA knowledge and derivatives product knowledge and experience are preferable.
  • Ability to handle high complexity in product coverage and shift workload according to changing priorities.
  • Good understanding of the downstream impact of actions undertaken, particularly the need for strong and timely controls throughout the trade lifecycle.
  • Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, solid business judgment, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and prioritize work to achieve them.
  • Flexibility to work global hours and willingness to travel globally if needed.
  • Extensive knowledge of CFTC/EMIR/NCMR rules.
