Trade & Working Capital Product Solution Delivery - Associate

Bogota, Colombia

Reporting to the Latam Team Lead and covering the Structured Trade Products, the principal objectives of this position is to assist with:

  • Deal execution, working in collaboration with the Originators to structure appropriate facilities in support of aggressive revenue targets
  • Post close monitoring and management of the portfolio adhering to all transactional control conditions established to minimize operational risk.
  • Seamless client engagement.
  • Responsible for the Transactional Control aspects of credit related Trade products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with the Product origination teams to structure appropriate facilities in support of aggressive revenue targets
  • Manage the overall technical implementation process to establish facilities in an efficient manner. The PSD Associate will lead the E2E implementation of the Structured Trade products, including connectivity set ups, file formats validations, UAT testing with clients and productive go live set ups into the JPMC platforms.
  • Ensure adherence to all transactional control conditions established to minimize operational risk and to be able to identify areas where such risks may develop, where transactional controls may need to be developed or adjusted
  • Manage facilities in compliance with contractual arrangements including timely and accurate reporting
  • Produce all necessary metrics for external/internal reporting
  • Act as the focal point for internal stakeholders including Risk Management, Credit, Credit Middle Office, Sales, Product and Operations
  • Perform the regulatory controls as applicable to the country where facility is booked
  • In the Risk Participation area, execute new investors onboarding and execution of assets distribution transactions, dealing directly with Investors.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, ability to complete assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision
  • Good understanding of Trade Finance products. A practical knowledge of the products covered would be an advantage as would understanding/experience of structured transactions.
  • Ability to work in a global team environment, across multiple disciplines and locations and be able to multitask within the broader scope of the PSD team.
  • Comfortable working in within deadlines and interacting with multiple stakeholders including Sales, Products, Corporate banking legal and Operations
  • 3 to 5 years implementation experience working with Front End, web based systems
  • Prior customer service & customer care experience preferred
  • Detail oriented with an audit and compliance mindset
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/work experience
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word for various monitoring and reporting requirements
  • English and Spanish speaker; Portuguese is desirable
  • Knowledge on Mexico Regulatory Framework is a plus.
