As an Analyst in the Trade Operations team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Trade and Loan Processing Team that covers daily processing and settlement activities, including but not limited to import/export Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee, Standby Letter of Credit Documentary Collections, Corporate & Trade Loans etc. You'll support the team to ensure processing are in compliance to the policy, procedures and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Review Trade documentations as part of the processing requirements.
- Obtain an understanding on Trade AML policy, sanctions and compliance related policies applicable for Trade processing.
- Act as a focal point of contact for customers and other stakeholders for any requests and enquiries for the transactional bookings
- Provide day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the execution of complex transactions
- Support Business partners in providing support and technical solution as required
- Participate in BCP/DR test / Call Tree etc. and ensure the plan is up-to-date to support this requirement
- Prepare regulatory reports for submission to regulators and monthly report on major activities to Trade regional office
- Ensure continuous review to existing processes to improve efficiency and changes to meet the local regulatory requirements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Customer service, team and goal-oriented, enhanced by a high sense of urgency and professionalism
- Excellent analytical skills with close attention to detail
- Excellent communication and people skills used to drive self and teams to get tasks completed
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external customers
- Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to handle working within strict timelines
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 2 years' experience highly desired; focus on Banking Operations with Trade Finance experience (preferred)
- JPMorgan CONNECT experience is highly desired
- Knowledge in scripting, i.e. Alteryx is highly desired
