JD for Team Leader:
Incumbent will be part of Trade Services team of IMOS (Investment Middle Office Services) and will be responsible for clearing the trade exceptions for Securities, flawless delivery of process, completion of change management process & suggest process improvements. The candidate must have sound knowledge and experience in trade life cycle of securities transactions (Equities, Fixed Income, etc). Knowledge of trade-life cycle for ETD and/or OTC instruments would be beneficial.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing all trade exceptions and handholding to closure
- BAU Execution to be best in class. Publishing of weekly KPI's & KRI's and to identify and track reasons for deviation from agreed levels. Ensure follow up for all ageing items
- Work with associates to ensure regular communication is maintained with partner locations
- Play a key role in Audit reviews and checks
- Assist in preparing and implementing Business Continuity Plans
- Processes research/investigations on appropriate systems to operations
- Explain product features and benefits
- The role/ position would require the candidate to work in North America (NA) / US shift

- End to End process responsibility and to be in control of End of day reports and critical intraday reports
- BAU Execution to be best in class. Publishing of weekly KPI's & KRI's

- Assist in preparing and implementing Business Continuity Plans
- Review and improve on productivity benchmarks on ongoing basis
- Work with Senior Associate/VP to ensure regular communication with partner locations
- Processes research/investigations on appropriate systems to operations
- Explains product features and benefits
- Understands how products can solve customer problems
- Create strong resiliency & backups within the team
- Regular reviews of procedures assuring new processes are documented
- Identify business knowledge gaps and ensure everyone has ownership of deliverables
Main Duties and Responsibilities: -
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the day to day Operations. The role/ position would require the candidate to work in North America (NA) / US shift and also assume the responsibilities of shift manager. The role involves close coordination and working with other client operations sites to ensure business goals and objectives are met.
Qualifictaions:
- Bachelor's degree
- Up to 8+ years of experience in a trade processing/fund accounting/custody environment
- Practical knowledge of the securities processing industry with basic knowledge of trade life cycle is essential
- Knowledge of trade-life cycle for ETD and/or OTC instruments would be beneficial
- Working knowledge of Excel is essential
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment
- Client focused with ability to work in tight deadlines
