Testing Associate I

Are you ready to make a significant impact on customer satisfaction and operational excellence?

As a Testing Associate within the Remediation and Correction team, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end testing of documented case requirements and analyzing data to ensure accuracy before and after case execution. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Quant Analytics Associates, and Quality Associates to correct customer accounts and maintain detailed documentation of case testing. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with correction and remediation standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify scenarios based on Correction Case requirements and manually validate data attributes on the System of Record (SOR).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, and internal team members to establish strong working relationships while maintaining independence.
  • Perform file validation using pivot tables and advanced formulas in Microsoft Excel.
  • Communicate effectively with team members on issues identified during test progression.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining correction strategies for assigned cases.
  • Work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality initiatives.
  • Develop testing artifacts, including test plan documentation and validation procedures.
  • Communicate defects identified during validation across all management levels.
  • Follow up with business partners to resolve defects and ensure compliance with correction expectations.
  • Perform and document traceability testing in alignment with business requirements.
  • Engage in process adherence and improvement discussions.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing, quality testing, or equivalent business experience.
  • Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities and environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and effective under pressure.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of at least one CCB LOB (Auto Finance, Merchant Services, Card Services, Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Home Lending). Auto Finance.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Ability to deliver initiatives with the highest level of quality.
